8-day Michigan Lakes, Lighthouses, Lagers, Wines, & Countrysides! Oct 7-14, 2020 - $2,650

$200.00

Michigan has something to entice just about every kind of traveler. Whether you are a history buff, a wine connoisseur, or the outdoorsy type, the Wolverine State has it all. And it’s best to experience all of it when the summer crowd has gone home and returned to school. Enjoy the crisp air with peace and tranquility, and be mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of pumpkin orange, pear yellow, and apple ruby red that you’ll find yourself in as you travel the Lake Michigan shore.

Admire trees heavy with ripe fruit and stop to pick up brilliant fall foliage to add to your scrapbook before approaching the dramatic hills and blazing colors of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Take a break at the cool-climate wineries that dot the Leelanau Peninsula and enjoy a glass or two of Pinot Noir or a Chardonnay. Visit lighthouses along lake shores and bays that have withstood the test of time. Indulge on a pasty (“PAS-TEE,” not pasty, the nipple cover), which is a meat pie that dates back to the 1800s mining history of the Upper Peninsula. You eat it with either ketchup or gravy. It’s delicious! There is so much to see here, and I can go on and on …

Come explore The Great Lakes State in Fall of 2020 and be pleasantly surprised by just how marvelous Pure Michigan is …
